The park features a 1.5-mile pedestrian path along the river and a boardwalk that allows visitors to look closer. Water features such as waterfalls and fountains can also be found within the park, as well as a series of sculptures, including The Bison, a large metal sculpture of a bison. The park also has several overlook points that provide stunning views of the Scioto River and the city of Columbus. In addition to its breathtaking views, Bicentennial Park also offers a variety of activities to visitors. During the summer months, the park hosts a variety of events, such as movie nights and concerts, as well as a farmers’ market. Picnic areas, a playground, and a disc golf course are also available for visitors to enjoy. Ample parking is available, and the park is very popular among locals and tourists alike.
