Learn information about Columbus, OH.

The North Bank Park Pavilion serves as the cornerstone of North Bank Park. Encompassing more than 20 acres of land, the park was developed to create a vibrant public space in the heart of downtown Columbus. Forming the park's center, the Pavilion pays homage to the city's history as part of the rise of industrialization in the late 19th century. The Pavilion is divided into two primary areas—the lower plaza and the upper terrace. At the lower plaza, visitors will find an abundance of activity, from small concerts and theater performances to casual dining. Visitors can take in breathtaking views of the Scioto River on the upper terrace. Here, visitors can also enjoy local art installations and a waterfront café. A signature feature of the Pavilion is its unique curved arched roof. Combining the natural elements of stone and steel, this iconic design is inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater estate, an iconic home near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The Pavilion's roof is a multimedia projection surface, providing a canvas for various performance pieces throughout the year.
