Teemok Construction Inc. in Franklin County has been awarded a Safety Intervention Grant, according to Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Steve Buehrer. The grant is designed in to incease workplace safety, eliminate hazards and reduce workers injury and illness.
The BWC decided to provide the grants under its Safety Intervention Grant Program to assist Ohio companies and establish safe working environments.
“We are pleased to work with to work with Teemok, and any company looking to protect the health and wellbeing of their workers,” sayd Buehrer. “The safety grant program is an outstanding resource for employers that have a firm commitment to workplace safety and are ready to make changes that can reduce injuries and claims costs.”
