A CITGO Petroleum facility in Lake Charles, Louisiana has achieved a workplace safety milestone: three million hours operating without a safety incident. The facility has been free from any violations defined by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). The oil manufacturing facility received similar accolades in the past—earlier in 2013 the facility celebrated one full year with no OSHA incidents.

Workers at facilities such as this one have an endless amount of hazards to account for at work every day, making this no small feat.
