Columbus Workers Comp Lawyers Report Upstate New York Accident

Two Amherst Highway Department workers were seriously injured in upstate New York when they were flung off a platform truck while changing a banner above the road, according to the Buffalo News. The workers, Paul Mordaunt and Scott Charleson, filed a claim alleging the Town of Amherst and Village of Williamsville failed to protect them and exposed them to a hazardous work environment.

Mordaunt and Charleson were suspended in a basket 30 feet off the ground in a traffic-signal tower truck. The tower truck collided with another truck, sending the two men flying to the ground. Both men were taken to the hospital with broken bones and other serious injuries.
