Joseph F. Navin, II
Attorney Joseph F. Navin, II grew up in New York City, New York. He was born there in 1960. After grade school in New York City, Attorney Navin attended and graduated from the Choate School in Wallingford, Connecticut. After graduating from Choate, Attorney Navin attended and graduated from the Ohio State University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science.
Attorney Navin then attended and graduated from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio. He received his Juris Doctor degree in 1987, with Honors, Magna Cum Laude. He also served on the Capital University Law Review.
In his last year of college at Ohio State University and for the first two years of law school, Joseph Navin worked as a legislative aide in the Ohio House of Representatives. In his senior year of law school, Joseph Navin was employed as a law clerk in a Lancaster, Ohio law firm; Stebelton, Aranda and Snider.
Upon graduation from Capital University Law School in 1987, Attorney Navin began his legal career as an associate attorney with the law office of Larrimer & Larrimer. He became a partner in 1994. Attorney Navin began representing injured workers before the Ohio Industrial Commission in May 1988, as soon as he received his favorable bar exam results and law license from the Ohio Supreme Court.
Every week, month, and year since May 1988 Attorney Navin has represented injured workers before the Ohio Industrial Commission. Workers’ compensation cases at the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and Ohio Industrial Commission are the sole area of Attorney Navin’s law practice.
Since 1991, Attorney Navin has worked from the Zanesville, Ohio branch of the Larrimer & Larrimer Law Offices, representing injured workers in the Southeastern Ohio area. Most of the Larrimer & Larrimer clients from Southeastern Ohio have cases in Licking, Muskingum, Guernsey, Washington, Noble, and Perry counties. Major cities include Newark, Zanesville, Cambridge, Marietta, New Lexington, Athens and all of the surrounding communities from these mid-size metropolitan areas.
Attorney Navin is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Muskingum County Bar Association and Attorney Navin is a Board Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist designated by the Ohio State Bar Association.
Practice consists of exclusively representing injured workers before the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation and Industrial Commission of Ohio.
